I’m joined on this episode by Sally Fallon Morell, president of the Weston A. Price Foundation, which has more than 13 thousand members and includes over 400 local chapters. This foundation has changed how people think and handle nutrition in their daily lives. Sally is also the author of many best-selling books, including Nourishing Traditions: The Cookbook that Challenges Politically Correct Nutrition and the Diet Dictocrats.
Much of Sally’s career has been dedicated to dispelling myths about the foods we eat. Perhaps most notably, that animal fats and cholesterol are not villains but vital factors in the diet, necessary for health, proper function of the brain and nervous system, protection from disease, and optimum energy levels.
